Our "Venturing
Love"
is shown through our Outreach to any and all who might need us. In all that we do at St. Gabriel's, we remember that
our very reason for being is to serve those in need. Our biggest outreach is through the weekly, free, community supper, on
Wednesday nights, feeding a full, warm meal to about 150 neighbors. Through MCREST, Macomb County's rotating shelter, our whole parish joins in feeding and sheltering, for a week each winter, honored guests
with no other home.
We also support Habitat for Humanity; The Macomb County Jail Ministry; World Vision; Macomb's
Lighthouse Ministries and more.
Several 12-Step groups meet here during the week, including Alcoholics Anonymous and Schizophrenics Anonymous
We share our time, our talents, and our money, wherever we can. Each Sunday during worship we collect
food and other items for agencies that serve those in need.
We welcome all people
to join us in reaching out to persons in any need or trouble.
