Our "Extraordinary Welcome"
is made real in worship, where Christ, himself, is both Guest and Host, and every person is wanted and fed: black, white, brown, gay, straight, married, divorced, jobless, single parents, homeless, ex-cons, addicts, old people, little kids, and teens fed up with the world - everyone!

The Lord's Supper is the center of our Christian life, celebrated, every Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 (at 9:30, only, during the summer).

All are welcome to come and receive the bread and wine!

We follow the ancient pattern of Christian worship
with variety in how we sing, pray, and present the scriptures

  • We open weekly bible lessons through reading, lively preaching, witnessing, "singable" music, and other arts and media.
  • We respond to God's Word through acts of commitment and faith, prayers, confession and offerings of money, and food for the poor.
  • We share God's peace as we prepare to come to the table where Jesus, himself, is the host.
  • We Witness to God's love sharing thanksgivings, blessings, birthdays, anniversaries, sorrow and joys and other Holy Moments
  • We reenact the actions of Jesus in the Upper Room, blessing the bread and wine, and then sharing them with everyone
  • Lastly, we are sent into ministry with the Lord's help and blessing, given through the Church

Our "Deep Healing"
happens in many ways: through the "laying on of hands" for healing, offered at all worship services to anyone who asks; through regular prayer for those on the Prayer List (anyone who asks); through daily prayer offered by members of The Daughters of the King for anyone that asks; through the tenderness offered from member to member, through hospital visits, home communion visits, and through pastoral counseling and visiting by the clergy, not to mention all the work and play we do together!
